  • I really loved the space you created for the flinta community [..] i keep asking my friends "where are all the gay girls?" gay bar exist, ofc, but it´s a very different enviroment. i also loved that your class felt so welcoming. in many yoga classes i feel like everthing has to be perfect, and I´m def. not. Maybe I just haven´t found the right kind of yoga until now

The heart of this retreat

Two women are dancing barefoot in a studio, one in a black tank top and maroon loose pants, the other in a blue athletic outfit with a towel on her head, with a large window and shelves with rolled yoga mats in the background.

Somatics

Soma means body - and somatic practice is the art of listening to yours. Through embodied movement; yoga, dance, shaking, meditation, workshops and inspiring guest facilitators - you'll be guided inward. Past the roles, the layers, the stories - back to the essence of you - to feel safe from within.

Three women having fun in a swimming pool on a rainy day, with tropical trees and two houses in the background.

community

You'll share this space with people who genuinely get it. Whether you're moving in the shala, laughing over breakfast or floating in the pool -  this is your space to feel held and belonged. This is not about pride and partying. This is something deeper - real connection, genuine belonging, and a return to one.

A group of women enjoying outdoors in a countryside setting with green grass, trees, and a dilapidated building with a red-tiled roof in the background. One woman in front is smiling and raising her arm, holding a phone, while others walk and chat.

adventure

You'll be taken on excursions to explore the country that holds us - its breathtaking nature, temples, and activities like surfing - alongside local, fresh dinners and the taste of fresh coconut straight from the palm tree.

A woman with long blonde hair, wearing a brown crop top and white pants, sitting cross-legged indoors in a yoga pose, smiling at the camera. She has tattoos on her left arm and wears jewelry, with a background of green trees and a wooden roof structure.

your host - mimmi

[she/her, lesbian]

A soul full of sunshine, play, and laughter - a somatic, trauma-informed yoga teacher, coach, and retreat host who found this work most meaningful when brought home to her own community.

The essence of what I do is guide people back to a felt sense of safety and belonging within their own body. It's a journey I walked myself, recovering from chronic symptoms rooted in past experiences - a reminder that yes, our body keeps the score. From that place, it felt only natural to help others find their way back to safety too - through 1:1 coaching, movement, yoga, workshops, and so much more.

But over the years, I noticed something: what I truly longed for was to bring this work into my own community. The felt sense of safety in your own body is something we all need - and maybe especially among people who share our world of not always feeling safe to be you. To feel more free. To feel more safe. To be you.

My yoga classes carry many names - somatic flow, vinyasa, nervous system regulation, sometimes just movement - but they all share the same roots: an invitation to turn inward and into your body. Sometimes we dance. Sometimes we shake. Sometimes we flow through asana. Whatever shape it takes, it's always held within clear, gentle guidelines and a safe container you can lean into. Safety is our foundation, and everything is always an invitation for you.

Off the mat, you'll find me walking barefoot, mermaiding in the ocean, or curled up somewhere quiet with a coconut or matcha in hand. Nature is where I come back to myself - and this week, I hope it does the same for you - at a place that´s been my home for three seasons and I can´t wait to share it with you.
